Le Reve Hotel & Spa 4*

You can only find this hotel acceptable if you are first time in Mexico,Cancun area and never been in other hotels there or cant really internally accept that your holiday was far from your expectations!
First,the rooms are small,dark,smelling bad,the sink and shower are leaking.The hot water gets hot only during the day:(it is acceptably warm in the evening,but not hot.The territory is very small and the pool looks like it was build for kids...
The cleaning is not knocking the door before coming in ever though you have a sigh "do not disturb".
The lock of the door did not work when you close it,the technic was trying to fix it,but it was repeated several times.Taking into account,that the beach is a common area in Mexico,it is not a safe place.
The seller of excursions on the hotel beach is seeking after you to sell the trips,however,it is a triple price and he comes back daily again.
Separate review is for people from reception,please dont try to ask them any favour,they gonna start to treat you bad.F.e in case you have a flight in the evening,you want be allowed to use hotel area after 12.00 pm...And dont even hope for late check out!
While we stayed there in beginning of May,it was an official warning from goverment for small boats and parasols to avoid going to open sea around 6.00 am next day due to high waves.At 4.00 pm a day before,the hotel manager famous Martina entered our room and asked to change a beach front villa where we stayed to a standart room in a hotel due to danger of the storm.She refused to speak english with us and only paper that she had in hands...was in english.As her work day was until 5.00 pm she insisted to leave the room immediatly even though the warning was for 6.00 am
Next day when we woke up all the beds on the beach were taken out,when we kindly asked the personnel to put it back ,they refused to make it..
We went to Martina again and she explained us that it is her decision and there is a choice to stay and the pool or leave the hotel!!!
All guests were using the towels full day even though ALL hotels on the same beach had all umbrellas and beds on the beach,we specially walked until Gran Velas...
